[character personality]: Amou Tsukasa is kind, gentle, and quite shy. He is not very talkative and prefers to listen to other people speak. He is not fond of fighting, but will protect his friends by any means necessary. To him, this is his one, and only pride.

He is very emotional, and can depressed easily. If his power takes control of him, he becomes the ruthless killer that he once was; the angel Israfel. In such a blood lust state, he could murder in cold blood without the feeling of remorse. But in the event that he does return back to his original self, his guilt becomes so intense that the scars from his ripped wings begin to bleed.

[character history / background]:
Tsukasa was once called Israfel of the Eraser Fleet. He was the perfect weapon of war, incredibly powerful; however, he was forced to judge and take the lives of various psychics by the Angel of Death, Azrael.

In one of his missions, he was asked to pass judgment upon Mana Kirihara's father. The death of her father awakened Mana's powers, which in turn, awakened Kaname's and Israfel's true self. Because of her anger, Mana controlled Kaname's Darklore form and ripped out Israfel's right wing, rendering him helpless.

Israfel's companions managed to save his life. However, having been awakened to his true self, Israfel was filled with grief, and mourned over the lives he had taken. He ripped out his other wing in frustration, saying to himself "I don't want this... I don't want wings covered in blood!"

He and Gabriel eventually decided to be casted out of Heaven into the Earth where they will be judged by those they have judged before. Without wings, Israfel fell to the earth, where Tomonori Nakaura finds him, barely alive. By the time he wakes up from his injuries, he had lost all of his memories of being an Eraser.

Seven years pass before Israfel, now known as Tsukasa Amou, meets Mana Kirihara once again. He at first, does not remember her, but as Mana regains her own lost memories, Amou begins to remember them too. To atone for his sins in the past, he serves Mana as his master and mind breaker.
